Got a yellow
"!" mark under Device manager on
Promise RAID controller when install drivers
from IUCD 2.22 under Win98 \ WinME ? |
| |
This yellow "!"
mark indicates if Promise RAID controller
was set to RAID mode, but there are no devices
attached to it. This yellow "!"
mark will disappear when RAID is properly
set (Stripe or Mirror) and devices (HDDs)
are attached. |

System
will hang up when using WinDVD player with
P4 C Stepping CPU like 2.4G \ 1.525V ? |
| |
Suggestion:
[1] Use Power DVD from CyberLink. or
[2] WinDVD2000 v2.2 will stop playing with
C Stepping CPU. This is a compatibility issue
between WinDVD and C-1 stepping cpu. WinDVD
ver 4.0 and above can fix this issue. For
WinDVD ver 3.x, there is a cpu ugrade patch
file from Intervideo. |

Why cannot
my DDR 333 be recognized correctly as 333Mhz
but 266Mhz in 8PE667(8GE667) series mother
board? |
| |
Based on Intel 845PE/GE
chipset specifications, whether DDR333 can
be supported appropriately depends on the
CPU type you use. DDR 333 can be recognized
correctly only when you use a FSB533 CPU.
If you use a FSB400 CPU, then it's very possible
that it can be recognized as 266Mhz. |
